Dr. Prof. P.B. Sivaraman, a distinguished and well-known Urologist is the Chairman of Chennai Urology and Robotics Institute, Chennai. As the professor and Head of the Department at Madras Medical College, he has left behind a legacy of urologists trained by him who are leaders in their field of work across the country.

Dr.P.B.Sivaraman completed his Basic and higher medical education (MBBS and MS General Surgery ) and his specialization in MCh, Surgical Urology at Madras Medical College, Chennai. He further completed his Fellowship (FRCS) at Royal College of Surgeons at Edinburugh.

He has worked for 5 years in higher training at various Urology Department centers in the UK. He was also the consultant urologist , at King Khalid Hospital, at Saudi Arabia. He has had training in Cadaver Kidney Transplantation at the Medical Centre and Transplant Laboratory and Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland.

Dr S Raja Sabapathy is presently the Chairman of the Division of Plastic Surgery, Hand Surgery, Reconstructive Microsurgery, Faciomaxillary and Burns and Director of Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore.

He had a brilliant academic career and was adjudged as the Best Outgoing Student of Stanley Medical College during his MBBS. He later completed M.S General Surgery at Madras Medical College and MCh at Stanley Medical College. He later did his higher training in Hand and Microsurgery at UK and USA.

He is known for introducing Microsurgery in Coimbatore and was one of the earliest to successfully establish a Microsurgical Centre in private practice based on “High volume, high quality and affordable cost model”. Presently the Plastic Surgery Department in Ganga Hospital is the largest Plastic Surgery Department in India and has done 10,137 operations in 2014.

Dr. Ananthakrishnan Sivaraman is a consultant Urologist , Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeon in Chennai Urology and Robotics Institute Chennai and Chennai Urology Clinic.

He is also an honorary faculty member at the University of Central Florida. Dr Ananth completed his basic medical schooling (MBBS) at Madras Medical College. His Urological training (M.Ch) was also at Madras Medical College where he stood first in the MCh University examinations and was awarded the ‘ Prof. Rajasekaran Gold Medal’ in Urology. Further training in Uro Oncology and minimally invasive surgery was completed in England at the Whittington and University College Hospital, London and Eastbourne District General Hospital, Eastbourne.

He also completed his Fellowship in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh(FRCS(Urol)) He then completed his Robotic surgery fellowship training at the Global Robotics Institute – the premier Institute for robotic surgery training in Orlando, Florida from 2010 to 2012.

Mrs. Gayathri Ananthakrishnan is the Managing Director of Chennai Urology and Robotics Institute, She has been instrumental in building up this institution and will lead the team to provide affordable, quality healthcare by adopting the best clinical practices.

Passionate about creating a difference, she leads various social initatives like the Indian Prostate Cancer Foundation, which aims to prevent needless suffering due to prostate cancer by creating awarneness about the disease, early detection and treatment. She is the founder of The Dementia Care Foundation which aims to transform the quality of life and Dementia Care for patients and their families.
